Emily brought our family tremendous joy and light. Losing her to suicide has left a gap in our hearts and home that can never be filled. While trying to decide on a proper way to honor Emily on her first birthday away from us, the idea of a purple button came about. We wanted to find a simple way to share love. In reality, sharing love with others is pretty easy and we wanted to make it even easier by providing an avenue to reach out to others and let them know that they are:
Worthy of Love
Enough
Amazing
Matter
We have been blessed with an outpouring of love since Em's passing. Our family has found that as we reach out and serve others, we are filled with more compassion and love and it is healing for us. We believe that as those who are struggling with depression and anxiety receive love and then are given the opportunity to spread this same love, they will be blessed with this same healing.
It's pretty easy. Emily's favorite color is purple and it goes with everything. As they say, "Purple is the new black!"
Why not? They are easy to hand out and fit nicely on a shirt or in a pocket. LoveEm Buttons are small and compact, but they can deliver a big wallop of love. "By small and simple things are great things brought to pass"
